How can I register my school and how much does it cost?
Registration
Schools on our mailing list will receive an introductory letter that describes the contest and registration details, addressed to the principal, in September of each year. Schools that have participated in the past, will also receive an emailed reminder to register, in September as well.
Principals or eighth grade teachers may register online at www.amschoolschallenge.com and then send check or money order with a copy of the automatically emailed Registration Confirmation as invoice, by December 1, 2008 to:

Upon receipt of registration and payment, we will use registrants' data to prepare the contest details and codes, and send them via email by January 15, 2009.
Cost
The fee for each school is $70.00 for up to 30 eighth grade students. Every additional student entered over 30 costs $2.00 more. For example, a school registering 40 participants would pay a total of $90.00. A school registering only 15 students would pay the $70.00 minimum fee.
Check or money orders , or purchase orders, should accompany a copy of the emailed Registration Confirmation (invoice) by December 1, 2008. The teachers involved in Scholastic Challenge are unable to send receipts to all registered schools and would appreciate schools using cancelled checks as receipts and verification of payment. |
